Hollar Seeds is a cucurbit ( melons, pumpkins, cucumber and gourd ) seed producer based in Rocky Ford, CO.  Their old site was outdated, hard to navigate and didn’t reflect the quality of their premium product.

Pixel Whip created  a new web site design that allows Hollar’s customers to easily find the products they’re searching for.  Once they’ve found their product, they can contact distributors in their area to place an order.  The visual style of the site needed to convey the worldwide reach of Hollar Seeds without getting too far away from their humble family operated beginnings.

By leveraging the power of Drupal, the open-source CMS,  Hollar employees are able to manage the site’s content themselves.  They can add new products as they become available, publish the latest news and keep their large distributor list current.  Another great feature of Drupal is the ability for Hollar to showcase featured varieties throughout the site and cross-sell similar varieties on product detail pages.

Olive Tree Traders is a Mediterranean Import Boutique in Colorado Springs.  Pixel Whip was asked to design a clean website, introducing a wide variety of products from countries in Europe, The Middle East and Africa.

This retail website had to reflect the high quality merchandise carried by Olive Tree Traders.  Pixel Whip was also hired to photograph the store and its products.

UpaDowna is an outdoor blog co-founded by Pixel Whip.  Built on Wordpress, Upadowna integrates various social media websites; such as Facebook, Flickr and Twitter.

The challenge designing UpaDowna was creating a clean design with a large amount of content and ad space.  Things seem to be working.  The UpaDowna community has taken off and grows every month.

Colorado Springs based recording studio Triac Studios hired Pixel Whip to build their new website.

We were given a lot of creative freedom on the Triac site, which allowed us to try out some fancy new jQuery effects.  Since the design called for a different color scheme for each section of the site, we used jQuery to crossfade between pages giving the effect of a smooth transition.  Could we have done with out it? Yes.  Would it have been as much fun? No.

In addition to creating the website, Pixel Whip also shot the photos and designed the Triac Studios logo.

Pixel Whip worked with Incognito Marketing to redesign New World Millwork’s website as New World took their business to a new level with an expanded manufacturing facility.

New World creates stunning millwork installations.  By using a professional photographer, their photos bring out the beauty of the woodwork that you could otherwise, only appreciate in person. With that in mind, we wanted the photography to take the lead in this design.  By using the Lightbox Photo Gallery, the rest of the site fades to black when viewing full sizes images.  This puts all the emphasis on whats most important- the gorgeous millwork.

Colorado Springs based BB Countertops needed a clean website that would convey a professional image and encourage visitors to pick up the phone and call. Pixel whip worked with Incognito Marketing to produce a fresh design that gets site visitors excited about the prospect of a kitchen makeover.

The new web design includes a gallery of countertops and cabinets to inspire visitors.  The phone number is displayed predominantly on each page in a clean and accesible way.

Cedar Heights is an upscale gated community set atop the foothills of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs. Pixel Whip worked on the new website with Incognito Marketing as part of an overall branding campaign that included everything from business cards to maps.

With Pikes Peak to the west and Downtown Colorado Springs to the east, the views from Cedar Heights are unparalleled.  To emphasize this, a great deal of photography was incorporated into the site design and content.  We jumped at the chance to get out for early morning and twilight photo shoots of panoramas only few can get to see.

This site was built on standards-based XHTML & CSS.

RCK Live is the website of Colorado Springs Real Estate Broker Dick Koons.  Dick sells premier properties in a select communities throughout Colorado Springs.

The new site was designed around these 6 communities with each having their own video introduction narrated by Dick himself. The site also contains featured listings, showcasing properties currently on the market.

Pixel Whip designed and coded this site in CSS & XHTML, working in conjunction with Incognito Marketing.

Seyer Industries is a defense contractor located outside St. Louis, MO. They design and manufacture military aircraft support equipment. With such a niche market, Seyer’s target audience is very specific. The main purpose of Seyer’s website is to convince potential clients that they’re no Mom’n'Pop Shop and can handle large military contracts.

Seyer’s original site contained much of the same content but was tricky to navigate and find what you were looking for.  We were able to fix this by creating a consistent navigation scheme with easy to read links.  The web redesign was part of a larger rebranding initiative with Incognito Marketing, including a new logo and brochure design. The CMS back-end development was done by Dublin Blue of Colorado Springs.

MDM Inc Web Design

MDM Inc. (Multi Duty Manufacturing) designs and manufactures top-of-the-line pumps for landscaping, koi pond, agriculture and industrial applications.  MDM came to Incognito Marketing & Pixel Whip to redesign their outdated website.

The old site was hard to navigate and product information was spotty.  The new site needed to have all the product specifications for each pump included in an easy-to-find and easy-to-understand format.  A content management system allows MDM to quickly update product information. Brand consistency needed to be maintained across MDM’s four main product lines, while still differentiating between unique applications of each.

The System Curve Calculator sets MDM apart from their competition.  They developed this tool to match a customer’s unique project requirements to the ideal MDM pump. As a bonus, the System Curve Calculator compares the energy efficiency of an MDM Pump to a competitor’s.

The back-end work of integrating the System Curve Calculator into the new website, along with the a CMS and Dealer Login area was completed by Dublin Blue.
